Job Type: Fixed Term Consultant Contract (12 months). [May be extended upto 3 years based on candidate performance].
Job Location: Bengaluru (Candidates will be required to work on a hybrid model with a few days in our office. There might be occasional travel involved in this role.)
Job Brief: EnAble India has been shaping the narrative around IncludAbility QuotientTM (ability to engage with those who are different from me) as a key component for leaders and all organizations since 2015. As a future facing strategic roadmap, the organization now wants to further sharpen, validate and deepen organizational level understanding and pioneer ‘Center for IncludAbility’ - an initiative that is research driven knowledge ecosystem that intends to impact all types of organizations.
The Center for Includability is aimed at solving inclusion at scale using the insights developed at EnAble India and using IncludAbility as the starting point.
Through this research we want to start identifying tangible, measurable indicators to assess IncludAbility and invest in an ‘instrument making’ phase grounded in research, moving from concept to construct and measure an individual's quotient for includability.
The consultant has an opportunity to work directly with several organization leaders at EnAble India as well as top faculty at IIM Bangalore. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who has an entrepreneurial mindset, is curious about shaping organization cultures and the employability sector in an inclusive way.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, and report data. Coordinate with research partners and vendors.
• Assist dissemination of project results through helping write white papers, reports, cases and peer-reviewed publications.
• Maintain proper documentation as applicable, related to field research.
• Support primary researchers in the collection of data and
information through surveys, focus groups and interviews with specific target groups.
• Coordinating with other partners/ institutions/ individuals through making appropriate research briefs, exchange of information to build
a sustainable echo system of Includability
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Educational Qualifications (basic): - Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in psychology, sociology, organizational behavior, or a related field - Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) may be preferred.
Technical Skills (desirable): - Research Methods: Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups. - Data Collection and Analysis: Experience with data collection techniques and statistical analysis software (e.g. SPSS, R) to analyze survey data effectively.
Soft Skills (necessary): - Written Communication Skills: Strong written communication abilities to convey research findings clearly and effectively. Should be able to write case studies, white papers, and research papers.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in executing research protocols and analyzing data to ensure accuracy.
- Time Management and Multitasking: Capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ownership: Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently. Proactively keep stakeholders informed of progress as well as challenges faced.
- Corporate Relations Skills: Ability to interact with corporate stakeholders and convince them for partnering on different aspects of research project.
Required experience: 3-5 years. Research or consulting related experience preferred.
