My name is Sara Kotak and I have been interning at EnAble India with Project Discovery for about a year now. I started as a volunteer, and I am an intern now. I recently applied to a university in Pune and got a full tuition scholarship, thanks to this internship. I have learnt how to communicate effectively and how a project works end to end. My leadership skills also improved considerably! My association with Project Discovery helped me grow out of my shell and I would recommend everyone to sign up for this wonderful experience.
Sara Kotak Intern Project Discovery initiated its journey with a simple question to me in a meeting by Dipesh Sutariya, “How many solutions do you use?” During the discussion, we realized that ‘any alternative method that makes a person’s life easier and overcomes a barrier is a solution’. eiLabs then started to collect solutions from the community members at grass root level. A brief discussion gave this project life and in just three years, we have gone international! I am hopeful for the world of innovation this project will lead to.
Sayomdeb Mukherjee Senior Manager, EnAble India I believe this project is not only about person with disabilities to come up and showcase their own innovations, It is also about encouraging everyone to be innovative and to see that solutions for one person can be solutions for many. Additionally, when people see people with disabilities contributing to their families and society, it raises awareness and shows that people with disabilities can bring about change and inspire everyone to achieve more.

Pragya Prasun Singh Bengaluru, Karnataka. Purple Ambassador for Acid Attack Survivors 2023 | Third Prize Winner, Daily-Living Solutions I have not realized that as a person with total blindness, I have been doing so many activities just like anybody else with ease. Initially I was in doubt how should I show my tips and techniques but it was with the help and support of my family and Project Discovery team, who supported me and gave me motivation to share hundred plus solutions.
Swapna Das Assam, Winner of Highest solution contributor Award in 2023 With our experiences of working in the remote areas we feel Project Discovery will certainly discover many of the productive as well as much sought after solutions. A country like India cannot afford or use devices which are not easily available or user friendly. We would also like to mention that this project has also made our parents and the families to think of such possible innovations in their lives. They have really enjoyed being a promoter in this new venture of EnAble India.
Archana Biswas Teacher, Prerana Educational Centre, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal Necessity is the mother of all inventions and the fact that we Indians thrive on juggad/hacks to make day-to-day activities little easier could be transformed into a project ceases to amaze me to no end. It’s wonderful to see simple yet doable and effective hacks by each winner was just mind-boggling and out of the box. Thanks to EnAble India for coming up with a one-of-a-kind project and acknowledging the efforts with an award is the cherry on the cake. Also, thanks to each winner for sharing such innovative hacks which I'm sure will help many others and will further ignite and generate many more ideas creating a ripple effect. Keep Shining, Keep Sparkling, Keep inspiring.
